Players of the Game: Maliyah Jarrett & Kaila Ellison

Bethel Christian faced off against Redlands Adventist Academy and came out on top with a dominant 13-2 victory.

Tonight’s Player of the Game honor goes to two outstanding athletes: freshman Maliyah Jarrett (MJ) and senior Kaila Ellison, who both delivered stellar performances on the field.

MJ took the mound as the starting pitcher and was untouchable, pitching two flawless innings with three up, three down each time. She struck out all six batters she faced, setting the tone for the game. Defensively, MJ contributed as well, going 1-for-2 with a big double, scoring two runs, and stealing an impressive four bases.

Kaila followed up with a dominant performance of her own, pitching three innings, striking out three, and allowing only one hit and one earned run. At the plate, she was a force to be reckoned with, going 2-for-4 with a single, a triple, four stolen bases, and driving in one RBI. Defensively, she also played a key role, making three big assists that led to three crucial put-outs.

Both players displayed grit, determination, and outstanding athleticism, leading the team to a strong performance. Congratulations to MJ and Kaila on their well-earned Player of the Game recognition!
