MJ Jarrett Dominates in the Circle as Bethel Christian Redeems Itself Against Fontana High
In a much-anticipated rematch against Fontana High School, Bethel Christian earned redemption with a gritty 4-2 victory in a non-league game. The win was especially sweet after suffering a tough 22-12 loss to Fontana earlier in the season.
Leading the charge this time was freshman pitcher Maliyah "MJ" Jarrett, who turned in a dominant performance to earn Player of the Game honors. MJ pitched a complete 7-inning game, striking out 10 batters, allowing no walks, and giving up only two runs, just one of them earned.
Her control, composure, and determination on the mound flipped the script from the first matchup, proving just how quickly this young Bethel team is growing. MJ’s outing not only helped secure the win but also set the tone for the kind of resilience and grit this squad brings to the field.
Bethel Christian walked away with more than just a win—they walked away with redemption.
GO KINGS!!!
