MJ Jarret Shines in Home Opener Victory Over Rubidoux High School
In a thrilling 7ā6 victory over Rubidoux High School in our varsity softball home opener, sophomore Maliyah āMJā Jarret delivered a standout performance to earn Player of the Game honors. MJ was dominant at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a single, a double, and a clutch two-run home run. She finished the game with one run scored, three RBIs, and a stolen base, consistently putting pressure on the defense.
With the game tight late, MJ took control in the circle over the final two innings. She shut the door with four strikeouts, allowing no runs and no hits to secure the 7ā6 win in regulation. Her all-around performance showcased her leadership and competitive drive in a memorable season opener.
