In the weeks approaching Bethel Athletics most anticipated event of the year, our basketball Homecoming, we will be highlighting our Bethel Alumni Athletes who are currently competing at a collegiate level.
The first alumni athlete we will be highlighting is Anthony McCullough, class of 2022. During Anthony's high school career, he participated in basketball, track & field, baseball, volleyball, and cross country. He also earned Male Athlete of the Year from the Majestic League in 2022 and many more awards.
Anthony is currently on his second year as part of Riverside City College's Track & Field team as a decathlon athlete and is majoring in Kinesiology to become a Physical Therapist. He is looking to transfer to either Cal Lutheran University or Cal State Fullerton to continue is collegiate athletic career.
As Anthony reminisces about his time playing sports at Bethel, he said, "I liked the coaches because you could tell they cared... I also liked that it allowed me to build better connections with other students at the school."
We are so proud to see Anthony continue his athletic career at the collegiate level. Best of luck in your upcoming season. Go Tigers!
