Chidera Onyeka Shines as Bethel Christian Dominates Packinghouse
In a commanding performance on Tuesday night, Bethel Christian School’s varsity basketball team to a 75-48 victory over Packinghouse Christian Academy, led by junior standout Chidera Onyeka. Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, Onyeka was named Player of the Game after delivering a stellar all-around performance.
Onyeka lit up the scoreboard with 25 points. His relentless work on the glass was equally impressive, as he pulled down an astounding 21 rebounds, with 10 coming on the offensive end and 11 on defense. His dominance in the paint frustrated Packinghouse’s attempts to mount a comeback.
Onyeka’s contributions didn’t stop at scoring and rebounding. He dished out six assists, creating opportunities for teammates and keeping the offense running smoothly. On defense, he was a force to be reckoned with, recording three blocks and two deflections that disrupted Packinghouse’s offensive flow.
