This year our varsity volleyball coaches and team stepped it up to support Breast Cancer Awareness at our annual Pink-Out Volleyball Event.

We were happy to see participation by middle school girls and varsity girls volleyball teams. The gym was decorated nicely by Coach Alyssa Younger & Coach Sandra Taylor.

It was great to see all of our fans dressed out in pink. Each fan was asked to write a person's name down on our pink-out signs who was either a survivor, current fighter, or someone who has left us due to fighting cancer. Before each game, we had our teams and fans hold up the signs and recognize a moment of silence remembering our loved ones, followed by a prayer.

Thank you to our Assistant Athletic Director, Josh Valenzuela, for saying the prayer for the middle school game and our Principal, Mr. Pangkee, for saying the prayer for the varsity game.

We had a great crowd to support the cause and our teams. Both teams purchased special hot pink jerseys for the event. For this year’s event, we raised money for the "Dig Pink the Side-Out Foundation". Half of the proceeds, from tickets sold, will be going to the foundation.

We look forward to hosting this event next year.
